J.S.Bach Suite for Lute E-major BWV 1006a, the Violinpartita Nr.3 E-major BWV 1006 and Sinfonias of BWV29 + 120a:
The lute suite in E-major BWV1006a and the 3rd Partita for Violin solo and the Sinfonias of the Cantatas BWV29 + BVW120a are evidently based on the same composition. Here they are presented in the sound of the various possible instruments, as well as the various text forms available and in parallel in arrangements by Schuman, Saint-Seans, Rachmaninov, Melartin, Siloti. As Bach's lute works continue to be discussed as to whether Bach composed them for the recently emerging "Lute Clavier" or "Lautenwerck", both historical and modern plucked instruments as well as historical and modern keyboard instruments are tried out.
